Myrtha Pools’ Virtual Trainer is an innovative, patented and wireless system that allows real-time monitoring of swimmers' performance during training. The system controls an alignment of waterproof LEDs, placed at the bottom of the pool and along its entire length.
The swimmer uses the light emitted by the LEDs as a constant point of reference and can check whether they are matching (neither too quick nor too slow) the programmed training pace at any time. The human eye can detect the light emitted by the LEDs in less than half a second. The use of LEDs also ensures that the Virtual Trainer is perfectly visible to swimmers in all light conditions.
